WG4 has
the following work:

Completion of DTR 24716, Native COBOL syntax for XML support, and DTR 24717, Collection Classes. The DTR ballot for both documents has passed. WG4 is addressing comments and will prepare revised documents for publication.

Defect reports: Information on the defects that J4 is working on can be found on the J4 web site.
- Planning for new work: WG4 intends to develop a revision of ISO/IEC 1989:2002, Programming Language COBOL. The project has not yet been officially initiated.
